Bird Collar

We are excited to announce that we have launched our first veterinary product, developed in partnership with an award-winning avian veterinarian, Dr. Coetzee de Beer, owner of the Centre for Avian, Reptiles and Exotics (CARE) situated in Klapmuts just outside Stellenbosch.

Introducing our very own Bird Collar, much like the cones dogs get when they are sick, these collars help birds in the same way. They come in 3 sizes, are durable, light, easy to use, and fill a much-needed gap for avian care.

The collars come in 2 parts, the two discs are clipped together around the bird’s neck and a cable tie secures it into place, making it strong enough so that the bird can’t get it loose and easy enough to remove by a vet.
The collars are prescribed by vets and will not be available directly to consumers since it is used for specific cases that will be determined by a veterinary surgeon. You can ask your local vet if they do stock them and if not, they can order them directly from CARE @ orders@birdclinic.co.za
More product information will be available soon on our new product page that will be updated soon.

Working in collaboration with Dr. Coetzee de Beer and his friendly staff we are busy developing a range of avian and other veterinary products that will help improve pet health and care.
The Centre for Avian, Reptiles, and Exotics is a purpose-built practice with state-of-the-art facilities for avian and exotic species, located at Pellmeadow Estate on Pretoria Road in Klapmuts, just outside Stellenbosch in the Western Cape.
